Wherever there is a crime, the name of the Samajwadi Party comes up… Rajbhar's taunt
The ruling party is on the offensive after a case was registered against Samajwadi Party's Faizabad MP Avdhesh Prasad's son. After BJP, now Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief and Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has attacked and said that whenever a crime takes place anywhere, why does only Samajwadi Party leader's name come up? Why are only SP leaders being implicated in every case?
He said that the SP leader was involved in the Ayodhya rape case, the SP leader was involved in the Unnao rape case, the SP leader was involved in the Mau rape case and now the SP leader was involved in the fake currency case. SP leaders do everything. Rajbhar said that this is unfortunate, such people are enemies of the country, enemies of the society. These people should be arrested immediately and put in jail and it should be ensured that they cannot come out of jail.
Before the by-elections to 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, this incident has given the ruling party in the state an opportunity to attack the opposition Samajwadi Party. The ruling party is linking this incident to the goonda raj of Samajwadi Party, while Samajwadi Party says that the action is completely politically motivated.
An FIR has been lodged against Ajit Prasad, son of Samajwadi Party's Faizabad MP Awadhesh Prasad, for allegedly kidnapping, threatening and assaulting a person named Ravi Tiwari. A complaint was lodged against him at the Kotwali police station on Saturday. Police say that the incident took place after a dispute over commission in a land purchase case. Ajit, who works in property dealing, may contest the by-election from Milkipur seat as a Samajwadi Party candidate. This seat was held by his father but it has become vacant after he was elected MP.
