Who is supreme between the Constitution and the Quran? What was Maulana Madani's answer?

Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind chief Maulana Mahmood Madani became the guest of a special program on TV9 and spoke openly on many issues. He called the bulldozer action a symbol of injustice and oppression and also praised PM Narendra Modi for his foreign policy. Maulana Madani also gave his answer to the question related to which is supreme in democracy, the Constitution or the Quran Sharif.

In a conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh's special program 5 Editors, Mahmood Madani, on the question of what is supreme between the Constitution and the Quran Sharif, said, "This question itself is wrong. There is no competition between the two. There is no competition between them." He further said that this question has been asked to me since 2002. Sometimes in the name of the nation, in the name of the country, this question itself is wrong."

Madani further said, “The Quran and Shariat are like our parents. You will ask me which eye looks good, which one to keep, and which one to pluck out. This is our law for us.” He further said, “According to me, the Constitution of India has its place. And the Quran Sharif has its place. Do not mix the two. Today's youth should know what is the work of the Quran, what is the status of the Quran. What is the status of the Quran.”

On another question who among Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and Asaduddin Owaisi is a sympathizer of Muslims, Maulana Mahmood Madani said that once again I will say that this question itself is untrue. How can I say who is a sympathiser? All these leaders have their specialties. Some people like some things and some like others. On being asked with whom among these three leaders is he good friends, Madani said I am a small man and how can I be friends with these big people.

Regarding the bulldozer action in many states, Mahmood Madani said that bulldozer action is not allowed in any civilized society. The matter is pending in the court, so nothing much can be said about it. Now the Supreme Court has to decide whether the bulldozer action is right or wrong. But the bulldozer has become a symbol of injustice and oppression. He also said that whoever does wrong should not be forgiven.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi, Maulana Madani said that there has been a lot of change in Rahul Gandhi, he is working hard and going among the people. On the matter of Rahul's love, he said that if someone talks about love, how can it be denied? Now if someone praises him, you will say that you are praising Rahul. However, what is being said is commendable.
