Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) has got a new General Director. Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been appointed as the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence and he will take charge from September 30. Inter-Service Public Relations has released a media brief regarding this.
The ISPR said that General Malik is currently serving as an Assistant General at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi. Asim Malik will replace Lieutenant General Nadeem Anjum, who was appointed Director General of ISI by then Prime Minister Imran Khan in 2021.

The new government of Pakistan has replaced General Anjum and given this responsibility to Asim Malik.
