UN Women is running a campaign against economically and politically strong people to not use their power for violence against women. According to the report, Africa ranks first in the case of most murders by partners and family. According to the data in 2023, about 21,700 cases were reported there.

This figure is quite high in terms of the population of Africa. According to the report, in Africa, 3 women out of every 100,000 are murdered by their partner or family members. Last year in America, 1.6 women out of every 100,000 were victims of violence. In Oceania, there were 1.5 victims per 100,000. According to the report, the rates were quite low in Asia, there were 0.8 victims per 100,000 women.
