In the 38th match of IPL 2023, Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh took a wicket against Lucknow Super Giants. With this, he has come in third place in the list of Purple Cap contenders. Arshdeep Singh now has 14 wickets in 8 matches in this edition of IPL.
Tej Mohammad Siraj of RCB currently holds the Purple Cap. He has also taken 14 wickets in the same number of matches. While the second name in this list is that of Rashid Khan. He has taken 14 wickets in 7 matches.
Tushar Deshpande of Chennai Super Kings has also taken 14 wickets in 8 matches. That is, so far four bowlers have taken 14-14 wickets. KKR's Varun Chakravarthy is in fifth place with 13 wickets in 8 matches.
