IPL 2023: Yashasvi Jaiswal got these two big records of IPL registered in his name, stayed away from this record of Yuvraj

Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal played a blistering unbeaten 98 off 47 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday. During this innings, he scored a half-century in only 13 balls.

This is the fastest fifty by a batsman in IPL history. Yashasvi broke the record of Pat Cummins and KL Rahul, who scored a half-century off 14 balls. Yashasvi Jaiswal got off to a great start in the match. 

He scored 26 runs with the help of three fours and two sixes. Along with this, he has also become the batsman who scored the most runs in the first over of any innings of this tournament.

Yashasvi broke the record of Prithvi Shaw in this case, who scored 24 runs in the first over against KKR in IPL 2021. Yashasvi Jaiswal, however, missed Yuvraj Singh's record of scoring a half-century in 12 balls.
