Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2024: Bumper recruitment for Loco Pilot posts in Railways, apply soon!

There is good news for the youth preparing for jobs in Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) from 20 January 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the official website of RRB. The last date for submission of online application form is February 19, 2024.

Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for a total of 5696 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot. According to the notification issued by the recruitment board, candidates can submit their applications. Applications for these posts cannot be submitted through registered posts or any other means.

Who can apply?

Candidates applying for these posts must have passed the 10th class. Also, they should have a year engineering diploma in the relevant branch. The candidate's age should be between 18 to 30 years as of July 1, 2024. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Women, Transgender, Minority, and EBC categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. All other categories of candidates except those mentioned above will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

Selection Process:

The selection process will be conducted in five stages: Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), CBT 2, Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
