Material
Gram flour - 3 cups
Asafoetida - 1-2 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Ajwain - 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp
Green chili - 1-2
Ginger - 1 small piece
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Curd - 2 cups
Green coriander - 1 cup
Water - 7-8 cups
salt to taste
oil as required

Recipe
1. First prepare the pakoras for the curry. For this, mix gram flour, celery, asafoetida, red chili, salt, and water in a vessel.
2. Mix all the ingredients well and prepare the batter.
3. Now put oil in a pan and fry the pakoras with gram flour batter.
4. Take out the prepared pakodas on a plate.
5. After this filter the gram flour and add curd in a utensil and whisk it well.

6. Put gram flour and curd in the mixer and stir for 1 minute so that there are no lumps.
7. Then put the batter prepared from gram flour and curd in a vessel and add water to it.
8. Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and fenugreek seeds and fry them.
9. Then add turmeric, ginger, and chopped green chilies to this mixture.
10. After this put the pakodas made in it and pour 1/2 cup water on top.
11. Cook this mixture till the pakodas become a little soft.
12. When the pakodas become soft, add curd prepared from gram flour and curd.
13. Stir the mixture till it starts boiling.
14. After this add salt and mix.
15. Cook the curry for 15-20 minutes while stirring it well with a spoon.
16. When a creamy layer starts forming on the gram flour curry, turn off the gas.
17. Your delicious Punjabi curry is ready. Serve hot with rice or roti.
