CG: Today is the last chance to choose a pension scheme, employees have to choose between OPS, NPS

The state government has decided to implement the old pension scheme for government servants appointed after 2004. The government had given time till March 5, 2023, to the government servants to choose between NPS and OPS, to fill the options.

Pension Scheme Latest News: So far 97 percent of government employees have opted for the old pension scheme of the state government. The last chance to choose between New Pension (NPS) and Old Pension (OPS) is till May 8, 2023. On not choosing one of the NPS and OPS till Monday, the consent of the concerned employee will automatically be considered for NPS.
