Diwali Recipe Tips: You can also make khoya barfi on Diwali

Material

  • 1 kg khoya
  • 500 grams powdered sugar
  • Finely chopped cashews and pistachios
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 4 tbsp ghee

Method:

You have to heat ghee in a pan and add khoya in it. You have to mix it until it becomes soft and homogeneous. After this you have to add sugar powder to it and let it cook on low flame. Now add cardamom powder to it and keep stirring. After some time, turn off the gas. After this, apply ghee in a plate and take out the prepared mixture in it. Spread it in a plate and then add cashews and pistachios on it. When it gets set, cut it with a knife and serve.
