Having a PAN card is very important for your financial transactions, and without it, many of your operations may come to a standstill. Many times PAN card gets stolen or lost, and in this situation, the process to get it back is explained here.
1. Process to remove duplicate PAN card:
To apply online, visit the PAN website.
Select the “PAN Reprint” option.
Fill in the required information such as date of birth, PAN number, and Aadhaar number.
Deposit Rs 50 as fees.
You will have to enter OTP during the application process.
After online payment, you will get the option to reprint the PAN card.

2. Important information about duplicate PAN cards:
To apply online for a duplicate copy of your PAN card, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.
During the entire process, you will have to provide necessary information like your date of birth, PAN number, and Aadhaar number.
In this process, Rs 50 will have to be deposited as fees.
After application, you will get the option to reprint the PAN card.
3. Points to note:
Your PAN card number will always remain the same and you can make it only once.
If a person holds two PAN cards, he may have to pay a fine and legal action can be taken against him.

4. Aadhaar Linking:
If you have not yet linked your PAN card to your Aadhaar, then you will have to spend one thousand rupees for it.
Without an Aadhaar link, you will not be allowed to do any financial transaction and you will not be able to avail the benefits of government schemes.
