Vegetable Dalia Recipe: Vegetable Dalia is very easy to make and it is also a perfect dish for breakfast because it can be prepared in less time. If you have never made vegetable porridge till now, then it can be prepared very easily with the help of our mentioned recipe.

Ingredients to make Vegetable Porridge
Oatmeal – 1 cup
Tomato - 1
Onion - 1
Ginger chopped - 1 tsp
Green chili chopped - 2
Peas - 1/2 cup
Rai - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chili - 1
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Green coriander chopped - 2 tbsp
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
salt - as per taste

Vegetable Porridge Recipe
To make vegetable porridge, first, clean the porridge and wash them thoroughly. After this, put the porridge in the pressure cooker and add water as needed. Now put a little asafoetida and a pinch of salt in it and cover the lid of the cooker and cook till 2 whistles. After this turn off the gas. Now, wait for the pressure of the cooker to release automatically.

Meanwhile finely chop the vegetables like ginger, green chili, coriander, onion, etc. Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add cumin, mustard, and dry red chilies and fry for some time. Now put onion, green chili, and ginger in the pan and roast till it becomes golden. After this, mix finely chopped tomatoes, peas, and salt as per taste and cook while stirring.

When the vegetables are cooked well, add turmeric, black pepper, and other spices to them. After this, put the boiled porridge in the pan and after mixing it well with the vegetables, cover the pan and let the vegetable porridge cook for 5 minutes. Keep stirring the porridge in between. After this, turn off the gas and add lemon juice to the porridge and mix it. Tasty and healthy vegetable porridge is ready. Serve it hot by adding green coriander leaves.
