How to make Tiranga Ice Cream

Combine the cornflour and ¼ cup milk in a small bowl, mix well, and keep aside.

Heat the remaining 2¼ cups of milk in a deep non-stick pan, and cook on a slow to medium flame for 7 minutes, while stirring occasionally.

Now add sugar and cornflour-milk mixture, mix well, and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes while stirring continuously and cool completely.

Once it comes to room temperature, add fresh cream and vanilla essence and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminum container. Cover the vessel with aluminum foil and let it freeze for an hour or two until it is semi-set.

Pour the mixture into the mixer and grind till smooth post.

Now divide this mixture into 3 parts.

Take a container, put aluminum foil, and put 1 layer of vanilla ice cream.

In another bowl (to give it saffron color and to make it tastier), mix well the orange pulp, orange tang powder, and orange peel. Pour it over the vanilla layer and let it set for some time.

Put aluminum foil in the third container, add another portion of vanilla ice cream, and let it freeze. Follow the same process for the third layer of vanilla ice cream. Add chopped betel leaves, pan masala syrup, betel essence, gulkand, fennel powder for green color and taste, and keep it in the freezer to set.

Demould all the three colored ice creams after they have set.

Place 3 scoops of Tiranga ice cream on a plate. You can also serve it on betel leaves for a fancy look.

Your chilled tricolor ice cream is ready.
