JEE Mains 2024 Paper 2 exam starts today, know when the admit card for Paper 1 will be released!

JEE Mains 2024 Session 1, Paper 2 exam begins today, January 24. The papers include B.Arch (2A) and B.Planning (2B). Nearly more than 1.2 million candidates have registered for the JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 exam. National Testing Agency has released guidelines for the examination. However, the hall tickets for the JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 Paper 1 exam starting on January 27 have not been released yet. Let us know when the admit card for Paper 1 can be released.
The JEE Mains 2024 exam will be conducted in two sessions this year. The first session will be held in January and the second session will be held in April. The result of session 1 will be declared in February. The registration process for the second session examination will start on February 2 and will continue till March 2, 2024. According to media reports, NTA can release the admit card for Paper 1 today.
This time, candidates appearing for JEE Mains 2024 will have to undergo frisking and biometric verification even after using the toilet. Biometric verification of all the candidates will be done at the examination centre and only then they will be allowed entry. All candidates are required to reach the centre at least 1 hour before the examination.
The following items are prohibited: Geometry boxes, pencil boxes, handbags, purses, paper of any kind, stationery, study material, food items, water, mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, document pens, slide rules, log tables, Camera etc. If any of these items are found with any candidate, he/she will be immediately removed from the examination centre.
For Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch), or Paper 2B (B.Planning), the duration of the exam is three hours. Including both the papers (B.Arch and B.Planning) it is of three hours 30 minutes. The JEE Mains Paper 2 exam is scheduled for the second shift starting at 3:00 pm today. The morning shift exam will be conducted between 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
