Lucknow's Ritu Karidhal is commanding the Chandrayaan-3 mission

Today is a very special day for India. Today Chandrayaan-3 will be launched from Sriharikota at 2.30 pm.
ISRO has entrusted the responsibility of Chandrayaan-3 to senior woman scientist Dr. Ritu this time. She is the Mission Director of Chandrayaan-3 Lucknow-born Dr.
Ritu Karidhal started working in ISRO from November 1997 as an engineer. Dr. Ritu, popularly known as Rocket Woman, was interested in the moon-stars and sky since childhood.
