Sukhnayay Festival
Through this festival that lasts for four days, thanks are given to God for bestowing a good harvest as well as good health and abundant strength. This festival is celebrated by the Chakhesang tribe every year at the beginning of March. This is also a way of welcoming the beginning of the year. Each day is followed by worship and adoration as well as thanksgiving to God with a different tradition and on the last day purification is done by bathing in a river or well. The Phaik district of Nagaland is mainly visited by tourists to enjoy this festival.

Sekreni Festival
Celebrated in the upcoming tribe of Nagaland, this festival also runs from February to the first week of March. It is celebrated for about 10 days. That's why if you want to enjoy it, then you have to plan a long vacation. On the first day of the festival, only unmarried youths have to take the responsibility of organizing it. While the fourth day is dedicated to young couples. During this, if a young man and a woman like each other, they express it by giving gifts to each other. Hunting is an important part of this festival and the hunted animal is also included in the feast. This festival is specially celebrated in the Kohima district.

Eleng-Monyu Festival
Celebrated in April in the Koyank Naga tribe, this festival marks the welcome of spring. It is celebrated with great pomp in the Mon district. It is also the new year according to the Koyank calendar and thus there are two major reasons for celebrating this festival. Dance, music, and food are a part of this festival, apart from this, the traditions and rituals related to the clan also have a lot of importance in it. Everyone works together to weave clothes and make traditional beer for the first three days, after which the celebration begins. In the last two days, everyone together cleans the houses and the village.
