Ingredients for making milk ice cream:
- Milk 2 liters
- Milk powder 1 bowl
- Sugar 1 cup
- Desi ghee 1 tsp
- Finely chopped almonds and pistachios 2 tbsp
Milk Barfi Recipe
First of all, take out the milk in a thick bottom utensil. When the milk starts boiling on a high flame, keep stirring it with a spoon. Cook the milk on high heat till it thickens completely.
When the milk starts getting thick, add milk powder to it. Add sugar to the mixture and mix well. Add cardamom powder to it for fragrance. Grease a large plate or tray with desi ghee and make it smooth.
Now turn the very thick milk mixture on a plate and make it uniform with a spoon. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios on top.
Now keep it in the fridge to set. After about an hour, cut it into square or diamond-shaped pieces and offer it to the Goddess.
