PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana: Now do the E-KYC of PM Kisan Yojana easily, this government app will help!

The Central Government has sent the 15th instalment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the accounts of farmers in the month of November. Under this scheme, the government has organized to provide financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to the farmers. An amount of Rs 2,000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana is given in 3 installments at an interval of three months. After the 15th instalment, farmers are now waiting for the 16th instalment and registration for it has started.

The Central Government has added a new face authentication feature by launching the 'PM Kisan App', through which farmers can do e-KYC through face scans sitting at home. It will not require OTP or fingerprint. The government has said that through this application, the data of farmers will be safe and this will prevent fraud in the scheme.

The app has many features, through which farmers can get important information related to PM Kisan accounts. It has the option to know the status of farmer land seeding, linking Aadhaar with bank accounts and e-KYC using the 'Know your status' module.

Apart from this, the India Post Payment Bank facility is also available on the app for the beneficiaries of the Agriculture Department to open their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
