Just hearing the name of Kheer makes the mouth water. While rice kheer is a common dish, today we have brought you the recipe for carrot kheer which will give you an amazing taste. This dish will be liked by people of all ages and can be served after lunch or dinner.

Material:

Carrots - 250 grams

Milk – 1 liter 

Almonds - 8-10 

Cardamom- a pinch 

Sugar – 1 cup

Instructions:

Start by washing and cleaning the carrots. Pat them dry with a clean cloth.

Grate the carrots and keep them in a separate container. After this, cut the almonds into small pieces.

Heat milk in a deep-bottomed pan on medium flame.

After boiling the milk for 2-3 minutes, add grated carrots to it and mix well.

Let the kheer cook for 4-5 minutes. When it starts thickening, add two pinches of cardamom powder and sugar. Mix well.

Cover the kheer and let it cook on low flame for about 10 minutes.

Cook the kheer until the carrots become soft and the mixture is completely cooked.

Carrot Kheer is now ready. Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with almond pieces.
