Material :

1 liter milk

1-kilogram sweet potato

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cardamom powder

5 chopped cashews

5 chopped almonds

5 chopped pistachios

A pinch of saffron threads

Hot water

Recipe:

First of all, boil the sweet potato until it becomes soft. Once boiled and soft, peel off the skin.

Mash the boiled sweet potatoes well. Keep them aside.

Take a big pan and heat the milk in it until it boils lightly.

When the milk comes to a gentle boil, add mashed sweet potatoes to it and mix well.

Continue cooking both ingredients until the milk thickens.

Heat a cup of water in a separate pan. Add a pinch of saffron to it.

When saffron dissolves in water, add it to the milk and sweet potato mixture. Stir well with a spoon.

Add cardamom powder to rabri and mix well.

Let the rabri boil on a medium flame for at least 5 minutes.

Add a cup of water to another pan and boil. Sprinkle saffron threads in boiling water.

Add water mixed with saffron to the rabri and keep stirring the mixture with a spoon.

After the rabri is cooked well, add sugar to it. Mix sugar in rabri with the help of a spoon.

Cook the rabri for 2-3 minutes more and then turn off the flame. Let the rabri cool down.

Before serving, garnish the rabri with chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.
