Aloo ka halwa is a popular sweet dish in India, made with boiled potatoes, ghee, milk, and sugar and flavored with cardamom powder. Here's a simple recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

4 medium-sized boiled potatoes, peeled and mashed

1/4 cup ghee

1 cup milk

1 cup sugar

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

few strands of saffron

2 tbsp chopped cashews

Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat.

Put mashed potatoes in ghee and cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously.

Add milk to the pan and cook the mixture for 5-6 minutes or till the potatoes absorb the milk completely.

Add sugar to the pan and mix well.

Add cardamom powder and saffron to the pan and mix well.

Cook the mixture for another 5-6 minutes or till the sugar dissolves and the halwa becomes soft.

Garnish with chopped cashews.

Serve hot or cold.
