If you are fond of eating sweets, then today we are going to tell you about a wonderful sweet dish, Angoori Rasmalai, which can be prepared at home. So let's know about its recipe.

Ingredients

Milk – 1.5 liters

Condensed milk – 1/3 cup

Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon

Sugar – 1 cup

Cardamom pods – 4

Saffron – a pinch

Chopped almonds and pistachios for garnish

Instruction

Heat milk in a pan. When it boils, add lemon juice and let the milk curdle. Let the milk thicken.

Use a piece of cloth to strain the condensed milk and separate it from the lemon juice. Now you have fresh chhena (cottage cheese).

Heat the remaining 1 liter of milk in another pan.

Mix saffron, sugar, chopped almonds, and cardamom powder in milk. Boil the milk until it reduces to half.

Knead the chenna into a soft dough. Then make small balls from this mixture and flatten them with your palms.

Heat 4 cups water in a separate pan and add 1.5 cups sugar. Let it boil.

When the syrup starts boiling, add prepared chhena balls to it and cook for a few minutes.

Take out the chenna balls from the syrup and put them in the reduced milk.

Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours or overnight.

Garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve delicious Angoori Rasmalai.
