Besan Bhindi, a deliciously delicious dish, is a popular Indian dish that combines soft bhindi with the flavors of aromatic spices. Here's How To Make Besan Bhindi:
Ingredients:
- 250 grams of okra, washed and dried
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp dried mango powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Instruction:
- Cut off the ends of the bhindi and cut it into 1-inch pieces. Make sure the bhindi is completely dry to avoid stickiness.
- In a bowl add gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, dried mango powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix the spices well with gram flour.
- Heat the oil in a large non-stick pan or kadhai on a medium flame.
- Put cumin seeds in hot oil and let them crackle.
- Add the bhindi to the pan and stir for a few minutes till they start to cook and become soft.
- Lower the flame and sprinkle the gram flour-spice mixture over the bhindi. Mix well, making sure all the bhindi pieces are marinated with the gram flour mixture.
- Cook the besan-coated bhindi on a slow flame, while stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, for about 10-12 minutes or till the bhindi is cooked and the besan turns golden brown.
- After cooking, turn off the flame and garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
- Serve Besan Bhindi as a side dish with roti, paranthas, or rice.
