Recipe: Make your day special with Egg Paratha, it tastes amazing!

Egg Paratha is a popular Indian breakfast dish, which can be enjoyed for breakfast or with evening tea. Let us know how you can make this.

Ingredients

For Parathas:

2 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup warm water

2 tbsp oil

Flour for dusting

For egg filling

3 eggs

1/2 onion, finely chopped

1/2 tomato, finely chopped

1 green chili, finely chopped

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp cumin powder

Salt to taste

1 big spoon of oil

Instruction:

Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add warm water gradually and knead the dough until soft and pliable. Add oil and knead again for a few minutes.

Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it for 15-20 minutes.

After this keep the dough aside and prepare the egg filling. In a bowl, scramble the eggs with onions, tomatoes, green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt.

Heat oil in a pan and pour the egg mixture into it. Cook the mixture until the eggs are scrambled and completely cooked. Keep aside.

Make balls of equal size from the dough.

Roll each ball into a small circle. Place 2 tablespoons of egg filling in the center of the circle.

Keep the egg mixture and fold it and then roll the paratha. J

Heat a griddle on medium heat. Place the paratha on the griddle and bake it till it turns golden brown on the bottom side.

Flip the paratha and cook on the other side as well till it turns golden brown and crispy.

Repeat the same process for the remaining dough balls.

Serve hot with your favorite chutney or curd.
