Recipe of the Day: Make jaggery pudding in winter season, this is the method

Required Ingredients: 

  • Semolina - two cups
  • Jaggery (soaked in water) - two cups
  • Ghee - five tablespoons
  • Chopped pistachios - hundred grams
  • Chopped almonds - hundred grams
  • Sugar/brown sugar - eight tablespoons
  • Saffron - two pinches
  • Cardamom powder - one teaspoon

You can prepare it by this method: 

First of all, soak the semolina in water for about 20 minutes.

Now heat ghee in the pan and fry the semolina in it till it turns golden brown.

Now add jaggery water to it. After this add sugar in it. 

After some time add pistachios, almonds and saffron.

After this add cardamom powder. 

In this way your jaggery halwa is prepared.
