Required Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Bathua
  • 10 chopped garlic
  • 2 medium-sized onions chopped
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt as per taste
  • Some chopped ginger
  • 10 dry red chillies
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli
  • 2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp fennel
  • Asafoetida
  • oil

You can prepare it by this method:

First of all, put Bathua leaves in water and cook till two whistles.

Now prepare its paste in the grinder.

Now heat oil in a pan and fry cumin, carom seeds, asafoetida, fennel, fenugreek, mustard seeds and bay leaves.

Now after frying onion, garlic and ginger, cook tomatoes in it for a minute.

Now add all the spices and cook well.

Now add Bathua paste to it.

Now cook it well.

In this way, your saag is prepared.
