Material
- 100 grams moong dal
- 4 cups water
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 green chillies
- 3 tablespoons ghee
- 50 grams rice
- 2 large onions
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- salt
Method:
You have to wash moong dal and rice and soak them in water. Now place the pressure cooker on gas and add ghee in it. Add some cumin and asafoetida and add chopped onions. Fry them for some time and now add chopped tomatoes and chillies to it. After this, add rice and moong dal to it and add turmeric and water along with salt. Cover the cooker and turn off the gas after 3 whistles. After the gas goes out, open the lid of the cooker and serve the khichdi.
