The day of the establishment of the Ram temple has arrived and today various dishes will be offered to Lord Ram. His favourite offerings include kheer, rabri, malpua and laddu. However, on this special day, a unique sweet known as Tulsi ki Mithai will also be included in the Prasad. This Tulsi sweet is quite easy to make and anyone can make it at home for Lord Ram. Let's learn the recipe of Tulsi sweet and how to make it at home.
Basil Sweets Recipe:
Material:
Basil leaves
Dry ginger powder
Black pepper powder
Clove powder
Turmeric
Jaggery
Cardamom powder
Wheat flour
Ghee
Instruction:
-To make basil sweets, first crush the basil leaves.
-Fry the wheat flour in ghee and keep it aside.
-Add milk, dry ginger powder, black pepper powder, clove powder and turmeric in a pan.
- Cook everything well until it thickens.
-When the milk mixture becomes thick, add some more cream to it.
Then add jaggery to it.
Now grind the basil leaves that you had kept aside and mix them in it.
- Add roasted wheat flour to it and mix everything well.
- Grease a plate with ghee and spread the batter on it.
-Garnish with dry fruits on top.
-Cut it into barfi-like shapes and keep it in the fridge.
