Mahant Ramsnehi Das of the temple told about this belt leaf found on the banks of the Banas river in Akola village that Lokesh Acharya, a devotee of the temple, had taken out a belt leaf from a tree for the consecration of Lord Shankar. Rare five-faced and seven-faced belpatra leaves were found here. According to Mahant, Belpatra is usually three pages. However, Belpatra with more leaves is found only by the very lucky ones. By offering it to Lord Shankar, the devotee gets infinite manifold results.
