The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the application deadline for class 11 or 12 students for the 2023-24 academic year to October 31, 2023. The previous application's last date was October 18, 2023. In a public notice issued on October 20, 2023, the board announced the extension of the scholarship application deadline.

To provide more context, the application process for this scholarship began in September. This scholarship is for female students with a minimum of 60% marks in the Class 10 examination, who are currently studying in Class 11. CBSE Scholarship 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship, students must have passed the Class 10 examination with at least 60% marks and be currently enrolled in Class 11. Additionally, the monthly tuition fees for the student should not exceed Rs 1500. Moreover, only those students who received this scholarship in class 11 are eligible to apply for it in class 12. Class 12 students must submit a renewal application.
