iPhone users use the Airdrop feature. But now soon you will be able to use WhatsApp for file sharing. Yes, actually WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new feature, using which users will be able to share files with nearby users. Currently, this feature is in beta version.

This feature has been introduced for the beta version of Android (2.24.2.17) and under this feature users will be able to transfer files with the help of Bluetooth. This new feature will be able to transfer files up to 2 GB in size faster.

The special thing is that users can also use the feature on Android phones, Windows, and Chrome OS PCs. Let us tell you that recently Google and Samsung have improved their built-in feature Nearby Share and now it has been named Quick Share.

How will the new feature work?
WABetaInfo has given information about this feature and has also shared the screenshot. According to WABetaInfo, the file-sharing feature works when both users are in the ‘People Nearby’ area of the app and remain nearby until the process is completed.

During the transfer, users' data is completely safe with WhatsApp's default 'end-to-end encryption' security. The special thing is that to share the file, users will have to first shake the phone.

Apart from this, let us tell you that WABetaInfo has recently shared some information that many users are facing difficulty in opening the camera in the app. Due to this bug, users were getting the message 'Can't start camera, please start your device'. However, users said that this problem was not fixed even after restarting the device.
