When do normal periods start again after delivery?

Periods After Delivery: The process of starting normal periods again after delivery is very different, many women have to face many problems in this.

When the baby is developing in the womb for nine months, the mother's body undergoes many changes not only externally but also internally. Due to which there can be many problems in getting back to normal periods after delivery. 

While some women get their periods 40 days after delivery, some may take up to a year. Apart from this, if you start getting periods after delivery, it is important that you get your periods the next month as well. If you miss your periods, the chances of pregnancy increase again.

The first period depends on breastfeeding

If the mother is breastfeeding the child , then the first periods can take 8 weeks or more. I.n the opposite case, periods can occur in 6-8 weeks.

Although this experience can be different for every woman. But usually there is a problem of severe pain around the stomach and heavy blood flow, feeling of lumps in the blood during periods, irregular periods.

After cesarean delivery, periods start in 6-8 weeks just like normal delivery. But after C-section, there can be more bleeding and pain in periods. Because during the operation, all the endometrial tissue that rested inside during pregnancy is removed.
