A shocking case has emerged from Alwar, Rajasthan, where a woman teacher, Guddi Meena, ended her life after prolonged harassment by a self-proclaimed tantrik. Before taking this extreme step, she penned a detailed suicide note, exposing the dark reality of how the tantrik manipulated and tortured her for years. She then shared the note with multiple people on WhatsApp before hanging herself.

The Beginning of the Exploitation

In her suicide note, Guddi Meena described how her ordeal began when she was in 11th grade. She wrote:

"I had gone to tantrik Devisahaya Kumhar’s house with some acquaintances. He forcibly read my palm despite my refusal and chanted some mantras. After returning home, I started falling ill. When I sought help, he asked me to visit him for seven consecutive Saturdays for treatment."

At first, she occasionally went. But when she skipped sessions, the tantrik harassed her relentlessly.

Years of Manipulation and Financial Extortion

Guddi’s suffering did not end there. In her suicide note, she detailed:

  • During college (B.Ed), the tantrik extorted ₹50,000 from her under the pretext of "Tantra Vidya" treatment.

  • Even after she got a teaching job in 2017, the tantrik continued to control her life, making it impossible for her to work for three months in 2018.

  • By September 2024, the harassment intensified again, and he coerced her into giving him ₹8 lakh in total, demanding an additional ₹5 lakh.

She wrote, “I don’t know what he did to me, but I used to go to him even when I didn’t want to. He would chant mantras, I’d feel fine for a few days, but then my problems would return. He called me under the pretext of treatment and kept extorting money.”

She held tantrik Devisahaya Bagad Rajput responsible for her death.

The Tragic End

On the day of her suicide, her husband had gone to the market, and her children were at tuition. Alone at home, she:

  1. Wrote her suicide note

  2. Sent it to multiple people via WhatsApp

  3. Hanged herself from the ceiling fan

When her children returned, they found the door locked. The landlord peered through the window and saw Guddi hanging. The police were immediately informed.

Legal Action Against the Tantrik

Following the family’s complaint, the police arrested the accused tantrik, and an investigation is underway. The villagers and Guddi’s family are demanding the strictest punishment, exposing the rampant exploitation and fraud by self-proclaimed tantriks who take advantage of vulnerable individuals.

This case has sparked outrage over the unchecked influence of fake spiritual healers and their manipulative tactics.
