On submitting the form, your 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN) will be generated and you will be able to download your e-Shram card. Benefits and conditions of free insurance of ₹2 lakh: On getting the e-Shram card made, the workers automatically come under the ambit of government insurance protection.

Its biggest advantage is that the government itself pays its premium: Accidental death: In case of death of a worker in an accident, the nominee gets assistance of ₹ 2 lakh. Total disability: There is a provision of ₹ 2 lakh even if the worker becomes completely disabled due to an accident. Partial disability: In case of partial damage to any part of the body, assistance of ₹ 1 lakh is given. Additional benefits: Apart from this, workers registered on the portal have the ease of getting cash assistance directly into their bank account in case of disaster or epidemic and the benefits of pension schemes after 60 years.
