The brand value of Indian Premier League, the biggest money-making tournament of BCCI, has taken a major hit this season. According to the latest reports, almost every IPL team saw a decline in brand value in IPL 2025—except Gujarat Titans.
The biggest setback was suffered by Rajasthan Royals, whose brand value fell by a massive 35%. The main reason behind this decline was the mid-season suspension of IPL 2025, which occurred due to military tension between India and Pakistan. The tournament was postponed for a week, directly affecting sponsorships, viewership, and commercial deals.
