This incident occurred on October 14, 2025, with the man boarding the train at Majestic station and disembarking at Dasarahalli.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) confirmed that begging is banned on metro premises, including within trains and stations, under Section 59 of the Metro Railways Act.
