New-Gen Renault Duster Hits the Roads as Deliveries Begin Across India

India’s SUV market is heating up once again as the new-generation Renault Duster has officially started reaching customers. Renault has kicked off deliveries across the country, beginning with the turbo-petrol variants, while the hybrid version is scheduled to arrive later in November 2026. The return of the Duster after nearly four years has reignited excitement, especially among fans who loved its rugged appeal and reliability.

The SUV was reintroduced earlier this year and priced starting at ₹10.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for select early buyers, going up to around ₹18.49 lakh for the top variant. With multiple trims like Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Iconic, buyers now have a wide range of options depending on their needs and budget.

In terms of design, the new Duster gets a bold and boxy makeover, giving it a much stronger road presence. At the same time, Renault has smartly retained elements of its classic identity, keeping that familiar Duster DNA intact while making it feel modern and fresh. Inside, the SUV is now packed with premium features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and Level-2 ADAS, making it far more advanced than its predecessor.

Under the hood, the Duster comes with multiple engine and transmission options to suit different driving styles. Currently, the turbo-petrol variants are being delivered, while the hybrid option will follow soon, giving buyers an additional fuel-efficient choice.

With these updates, the new Duster is set to compete strongly against popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. With its mix of rugged styling, modern tech, and strong brand recall, the Duster is clearly aiming to make a powerful comeback on Indian roads.
