Fukrey star Varun Sharma, known for his effortless comic timing and lovable screen presence, has finally announced his next big project after a long gap since Fukrey 3. The actor revealed that he and Pulkit Samrat will once again share the screen in a new film titled Rahu Ketu — a piece of news that has thrilled fans of the iconic Choocha–Honey duo.

The Varun–Pulkit pairing has always been a highlight for audiences, thanks to their unbeatable chemistry in the Fukrey franchise. Now, the duo is gearing up to bring that magic back in a brand-new story. Varun officially announced the film during the Kshitij Fest, sharing the first glimpse and expressing his excitement.

Rahu Ketu to release on January 16
Varun revealed that Rahu Ketu will hit theatres on January 16, 2026. Addressing fans at the event, he said, “If you loved Fukrey, you’re going to enjoy this film too. Pulkit and I are teaming up once again. The film releases on January 16, and it’s called Rahu Ketu.” Varun won hearts as Choocha in Fukrey, whereas Pulkit’s portrayal of Honey was equally adored. Their on-screen camaraderie and real-life friendship have always been audience favourites.

Piyush Mishra joins the cast
Along with Varun and Pulkit, the film also features Chunky Pandey, Shalini Pandey, and the versatile Piyush Mishra in significant roles. The first look of Rahu Ketu has already sparked excitement, and fans are now eagerly waiting for the trailer.
