‘This Murder Is Beyond the Power of Three Women’: Father Alleges Fourth Accused, Reveals 4-Year-Old Spell in Lucknow Engineer Killing

The mysterious murder of executive engineer Surya Pratap Singh in Lucknow’s Gomti Nagar has taken a dramatic turn. While his live-in partner Ratna and her two minor daughters have been accused of the crime, Surya’s father has made explosive claims, alleging that a fourth person was involved and that the killing was impossible for the three women alone. He also revealed that a tantric ritual performed four years ago may be linked to the case.

Engineer Found Dead With Multiple Deep Wounds

Shock spread through an apartment in Gomti Nagar when 33-year-old Surya Pratap Singh, an executive engineer at Eveready, was found dead in his bedroom. His body was soaked in blood. He had three deep cuts on his neck and multiple stab injuries on his chest and hands.

Police detained his live-in partner Ratna (46) and her daughters, aged 18 and 14, as primary suspects. However, the victim’s family insists that such brutal injuries could not have been inflicted by three women alone and there must have been an outsider directly involved.

How the Relationship Started

Originally from Deoria, Surya moved with his family to Jankipuram in 2012. Ratna lived next door. After her husband Rajendra Kumar died of jaundice in 2014, Surya began tutoring her daughters. Over time, the two developed an intimate relationship. Surya eventually distanced himself from his own family and moved in with Ratna and her children in Gomti Nagar.

‘Wedding Plans Cost My Son His Life’

Surya’s father Narendra Singh said he had been searching for a bride for his son for the past three years. Surya had recently agreed to a proposal. But Ratna allegedly refused to let him marry anyone else.

The family claims she would often declare,
“Surya is mine. I won’t let him go.”
According to them, she threatened to file false cases and said both daughters would testify against Surya if he tried to leave.

Claim of Tantric Spell 4 Years Ago

Narendra Singh and several neighbors made another sensational revelation: they allege Ratna had a tantric perform a vashikaran (spell) on Surya about four years earlier.

They claim Surya’s behavior had begun changing recently. He had stopped Ratna from uploading photos on social media, which frequently led to arguments between them.

Father Insists: ‘A Fourth Person Was There’

Narendra Singh argues that the nature of injuries indicates involvement of another person:

“My son had three deep neck wounds and several stabs on his chest. How could two minor girls and a 46-year-old woman inflict such violent injuries?”

Neighbors also reported seeing an unfamiliar man near the apartment several times in recent days. Police are now investigating whether Ratna was in contact with someone who may have assisted in the murder.

10 Hours in the Room After the Killing

According to investigators, the murder happened in the morning. What has puzzled the police is that Ratna and her daughters allegedly stayed inside another room for nearly 10 hours after the killing before informing anyone.

The police currently suspect a combination of family disputes and allegations of sexual misconduct, though the victim’s family strongly rejects these accusations.

Family Demands Justice

Surya’s father told the media:

“My son was the only earning member. He would never harm his daughters. We want justice. The fourth person involved must be arrested.”

Police are interrogating the three women and awaiting forensic results and the post-mortem report. As more layers unfold, the case is becoming increasingly complex and sensational.

Whether it is a story of obsession and jealousy, or a deeper conspiracy involving an unknown accomplice, will only be revealed as the investigation progresses.
