If you prefer watching movies and series from the comfort of your home, this week brings an exciting lineup on OTT platforms. Several major releases are arriving, including the highly awaited third season of The Family Man and the critically acclaimed film Homebound, which earned a 9-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival and was also India’s official entry to the Oscars.
While the South Indian slate is lighter this week, one successful Tamil film is also set for streaming. In addition, Vivek Agnihotri’s controversial project The Bengal Files will make its digital debut.
The Family Man 3
Fans of Manoj Bajpayee have been eagerly waiting for the third installment of his hit spy-thriller series. The first season premiered in 2019, followed by the second in 2021, both receiving strong responses. After a four-year gap, The Family Man 3 is finally arriving, with Manoj Bajpayee going head-to-head with Jaideep Ahlawat. The trailer has already generated buzz, and viewers are curious to see how the new season unfolds. The series will start streaming on Prime Video from November 21.
Homebound
The internationally acclaimed film Homebound is arriving on OTT after earning global praise. The film received a 9-minute standing ovation at Cannes and is also India’s official submission to the Oscars. Starring Ishaan Khattar, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor, the film will be available to watch on Netflix from November 21.
The Bengal Files
Vivek Agnihotri's The Bengal Files faced controversy even before its release. The trailer launch event witnessed violence, and the film was banned in Bengal amid heated political tensions. Although it didn’t perform well at the box office, it is now set for its digital release. The film is expected to premiere on ZEE5 on November 21.
Bison Kalamadan
This Tamil film was a strong theatrical performer and gained positive audience response. The movie will also join the OTT lineup this week. It starts streaming on Netflix on November 21.
