Vaibhav has made many records in his name during his stormy century innings in the ACC Men's Under-19 Asia Cup. Vaibhav has become the batsman who has hit the most number of sixes in the Men's Under-19 Asia Cup, while Vaibhav has also become the batsman who has hit the most number of sixes in an innings in the Under-19 Asia Cup. In this century innings of his, Vaibhav has hit 14 sixes so far. The record for hitting the most number of sixes in an innings for the Asia Youth/Under-19 Cup was also in the name of Darvesh Rasooli. Darvesh Rasooli had hit 10 sixes in his 105-run innings in 2017.

You might be surprised to know that Afghanistan's Darvesh Rasooli holds the record for hitting the most sixes in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Darvesh Rasooli hit a total of 22 sixes. However, Vaibhav has broken this record by hitting 14 sixes in a single innings. Vaibhav has now become the batsman with the most sixes in the Under-19 Asia Cup, with a total of 26 sixes to his name.
Third batsman to score 150+ in the Under-19 Asia Cup
Vaibhav also became the third batsman in the world to score 150+ in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Aryan Saxena of the UAE scored 150, while Soumya Sarkar of Bangladesh scored 209 against Qatar in 2012. He also became the second batsman to score the highest innings in the Under-19 Asia Cup.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi created a world record
Vaibhav has become the batsman with the most sixes in a Youth ODI. By doing so, he has broken the record held by Australia's Michael Hill. Hill had hit a total of 12 sixes in a Youth ODI innings. Vaibhav, on the other hand, hit 14 sixes in his 171-run innings. Vaibhav scored 171 runs in just 95 balls, hitting 9 fours and 14 sixes. Michael had set this world record by hitting 12 sixes in a match against Namibia in 2008.
