Captain Jos Buttler kicked the coach in the stomach, and was dropped from the team, big news came from England
No one would have thought that current ODI and T20 captain Jos Buttler would do this to legendary all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, who won many matches for England in his time. The big news is coming from the English media. There are reports that Andrew Flintoff will not join the team as a consultant coach in the ODI and T20 series between England and Australia and all this has happened because of Jos Buttler. According to media reports, it has been decided not to take Flintoff in this role at the request of Jos Buttler. It is being told that there is no good bonding between Butler and Flintoff.
Andrew Flintoff was associated with Team England during the T20 World Cup 2024. He was also with the team on the West Indies tour. Now England has to play a white ball series against Australia in which Flintoff was to remain in the role of consultant coach but now Butler's unhappiness has got him out of this series. This decision of Butler is somewhere like a big setback for Flintoff because he could have got a good amount for this series but now he will not get that too.
According to reports, Trescothick will remain with the England team in the ODI and T20 series against Australia. Trescothick has a good friendship with Butler. Both the players have also played together for Somerset. Recently, England removed head coach Matthew Mott and since then Trescothick has been playing this role. Now it is being said that Trescothick can soon become a full-time head coach.
Australia and England will play a series of three T20 and five ODI matches from next month. The T20 series will start from September 11 and the ODI series will start from September 19.
