Carlos Alcaraz broke Djokovic's dream and achieved this great achievement for the first time

Spain's Carlos Alcaraz broke the dream of former number one Novak Djokovic by winning the Wimbledon final. The Spaniard defeated Serbia's Novak Djokovic 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in a thrilling five-set final on Sunday.
With this win, Alcaraz denied Djokovic a record-equalling eighth and fifth consecutive Wimbledon title. With this defeat, Djokovic also lost the chance to overtake Serena Williams by winning the 24th Grand Slam. Now they have to wait to leave Serena behind.
Spain's 20-year-old Alcaraz won the Wimbledon final for the first time. This is the second Grand Slam of world number one Alcaraz. The last time Novak Djokovic lost here was in the final in 2013. This was Djokovic's record 35th Grand Slam final while Alcaraz was playing in the final for only the second time.
