Cricket returns to Olympics after 128 years, India's medal count may increase

This means that after 128 years, cricket will also be organized in the Olympics. The inclusion of cricket in the Olympics was announced after the second day of the Executive Board meeting in Mumbai. Earlier, a cricket competition was organized in the 1900 Paris Olympics. With this step of the International Olympic Committee, India's chances of increasing medals in the Olympics have increased. Indian team has dominated in cricket. 

According to reports, IOC President Thomas Bach informed that Executive Board officials have approved the inclusion of cricket in the Los Angeles Olympics along with baseball/softball, flag football, squash and lacrosse.
