ICC ODI World Cup: If this happens, Pakistan team can still reach the semi-finals

Today, Pakistan will face the current world champion England in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Pakistan still has a slight hope of reaching the semi-finals. Now Pakistan can reach the semi-finals only by performing a big miracle. 

To reach the semi-finals of ICC ODI Cup 2023, Pakistan will have to defeat England by at least 287 runs. If Babar Azam's team were to chase the target, it would have to achieve the target in just 3.4 overs. In both the circumstances, it seems impossible for the Pakistan team to do this. Although cricket is a game of uncertainties, in such a situation at least some hope can be maintained. 

Pakistan's hopes of reaching the semi-finals were dealt a blow with New Zealand's victory over Sri Lanka. New Zealand, captained by Kane Williamson, has almost confirmed its place in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
