ICC ODI World Cup: India suffered a loss due to South Africa's victory, this happened after 24 years

South Africa defeated New Zealand by 190 runs in the 32nd match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. South Africa scored 357 runs in the stipulated overs in the match. In reply, the Kiwi team was bundled out for only 167 runs.

With this victory, South Africa has also ended its 24-year drought of World Cup victory against New Zealand. South Africa has got its first win against New Zealand in the ODI World Cup since 1999.

Before this, South Africa has lost six consecutive times to the Kiwi team. With this victory, South Africa has secured the top position in the points table of ICC ODI World Cup 2023. India has now come to second place in the points table.

This is South Africa's sixth win in seven matches. Whereas the Indian team has won all the six matches. South Africa has left India behind in terms of net run rate. Both teams have 12-12 points.
