ICC ODI World Cup: This world record of Sachin Tendulkar will not be broken this time too

Sachin Tendulkar holds many world records in the ICC ODI World Cup. The world record for scoring most runs in the tournament is also registered in his name. There is little chance of Sachin Tendulkar's record being broken even in this Mahakumbh of cricket starting from tomorrow in India. 

Sachin Tendulkar has scored 2278 runs while playing 45 matches in the World Cup journey from 1992-2011. He has also scored six centuries in his ODI World Cup career. The second name in this list is that of Ricky Ponting, who made 1743.

Among the current active players, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan has scored the most runs. Shakib Al Hasan has scored 1146 runs in 29 matches in his World Cup journey from 2007-2019. It is almost impossible for them to break this world record of Sachin in the World Cup.
