He has scored one century in the tournament so far. Second in the list is Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who has so far scored 311 runs in five matches of the tournament. 

Virat Kohli had a chance to equal the record of former great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar (49) for scoring most centuries in international ODI cricket by scoring a century on Sunday, but he could not do so.
