It was believed that Australia would have the upper hand in the Perth Test. But, when the game started, the reality was contrary to the thinking. One team did dominate but it was not Australia but Team India. Now Australia is facing the threat of a big defeat. However, this would not have happened if the host Australia had not fined 110 runs. The wound caused by this fine has pushed it towards defeat in Perth. Of course, you must be wondering when and how the Australian team was fined in Perth. Actually, the fine was imposed due to the mistake that Australia made in the live match on the Perth ground.

The incident happened when the 41st over of India's second innings was going on. Mitchell Starc was bowling and Yashasvi was on strike. On the 5th ball of that over of Starc, the ball took the edge of the bat and went to Usman Khawaja standing in the slip. But Khawaja dropped the catch. Australia had to pay the price for this mistake in the match and was again fined 110 runs.

Now the question is that the mistake was understood but how was Australia fined 110 runs? Actually, when Usman Khawaja dropped Yashasvi's catch, he was playing on 51 runs. After that lifeline, he added 110 more runs to his score, which took him to 161 runs and gave Team India the opportunity to set a target of more than 500 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal created many records by scoring a century in his very first Test in Australia. This was his fourth century in his Test career and second on foreign soil. He is the third Indian to score a century in his first Test in Australia. During the innings in Perth, Yashasvi also completed his 1500 runs in Test cricket. He has become the Asian batsman to score the most runs after 15 Tests.
