According to the information, Shreyas Iyer, part of the Indian team in this ODI series, will not be seen in the series due to a back injury. This has been confirmed by Team India's fielding coach T. Dileep. He told that Shreyas Iyer will not be a part of the Australia ODI series.

If reports are to be believed, Shreyas Iyer had suffered from lower-back pain during the Ahmedabad Test match against Australia. After which he was also scanned by the medical team. After this, during the first innings of the Indian team in this match, Iyer did not even come on the field for batting.
